Summer Flower Mix by Creekland Flowers

I founded Armidale Creekland Flowers with one goal in mind: providing fresh, beautiful and locally grown flowers to our community. I hope you enjoy my flowers as much as I enjoy growing them.

It started from my back yard in the middle of a drought and is now slowly expanding on a 5 acre plot at 9 Kirkwood Street. I've been steadily moving my spring bulbs and dahlias to the Kirkwood Street site while also planting a steady stream of annuals and foliage plants.

When I started selling flowers it was solely through the weekend markets in Armidale however with COVID came difficulties and opportunities, the markets shut down but we were able to move to selling online, selling at pop up shops and bouquet subscriptions. The markets will always be my favourite way of getting flowers out into the community based on my memories of selling meringues for 50 cents at Markets in the Mall out the front of Jean-Pierre's Restaurant during the 90's. I love the sense of community that the markets create and enjoy chatting about gardening with everyone that passes by."
