So much of what Toni will be bringing to the market day has grown in her very own garden - it is truly an impressive spread on many levels, so be sure to come and taste it all!
From 8am she will have :
Corinne will have some of her beautiful pamper packs available for us on the Market + Fair Day, they contain a range of beautiful skincare products and are always great value. Her full range of skincare products will be available too - they are always popular with our B&B guests, who regularly buy the travel sized pots of cream and bars of soap. A visit to Corinne's Farm Gate is also a must - so many of our guests have come back raving about what a fun time they had, well done to Corinne and family for operating such a great business for locals and visitors alike! Find their farm gate and olnine store at www.sunhillskin.com.au
Our Producer's Crates are filled with an array of tempting delights from a great range of our stallholders. Strictly limited numbers available, so be sure to get in touch via email@example.com, or order online before they disappear. They will only be available by pre-order and only until Sunday 2nd March 2014 and are all sold based on collection at our Market + Fair Day on Saturday 8th March 2014.
Rowan is already well known for looking after his guests and he has made sure no one has to miss out on his superb Twilight Dinner, creating options for Vegetarian diners that are slightly different to the menu for omnivores, and a very different menu for our vegan friends. Gluten free diners need not miss out either - very little change is required to look after your needs. If you haven't already bought a ticket them click on our 'Tickets & Crates' link to buy online, or head in to NERAM Harvest, New England Brewing Co, Aurelia's Farm B&B or the Uralla Tourist Information Centre to purchase in person. Any queries, please just get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org or on 0434 408 163.
Charlie Ray's Food Fusion are bringing their own take on terrines and pate's to the Seasons of New England Market + Fair Day and after hearing a number of their Christmas customers rave about their products I am really looking forward to checking them out for myself. I love good food with a twist, and above all food made with local produce and Charlie Ray's does both these things - the terrine pictured is just one example. Delicious, I have no doubt.
There really are lots of great places to stay in the New England and yes, our little B&B is certainly one of them (basin pictured left). For a full listing of places to stay in Uralla, check out www.uralla.com, and for a listing of hosted accommodation in the New England generally, you won't find a better list than www.ruralstay.com. Having trouble finding a place to stay though? Don't hesitate to get in touch on 0434 408 163 and we will do our utmost to help.
With a name like The Coffee Incident I was already in really, but when I saw their sign
"Coffee. Not made by clowns"
well, I was doubly in! And it was well worth the stop, the coffee was great, staff very welcoming of my entrance with two small children and they made fabulous milkshakes for the kids. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting a great coffee on their way through Glen. I will post their Facebook link in a comment below this post.
Had a great chat with the friendly staff in at the Glen Innes Tourist Info who were more than happy to help promote the Market + Fair Day, and will shortly also drop some into the Guyra Tourist Info, wonderful to hear how supportive people are across the New England about local producers and makers and how much they love the sound of our event on Satutday 8th March.
Managed to squeeze in some wonderful retail therapy at Raindrops and Lollipops while in Glen - beautiful shop, great things for little ones too and VERY child friendly, thanks Nellie!
Jake, Helena and I are off to Glen today to start the little tour of the New England we have talked about doing - and to drop off some of the fabulous flyers for the Market + Fair Day, music going (Jakes favourite, Mumford & Sons), banana bread already mostly gone and we just passed Armidale ....
