New England are a team of artists based in Kentucky who also run workshops in various creative techniques. Held twice yearly in the picturesque town of Uralla, the first Country Living Seasons of New England Market + Fair Day attracted a huge crowd of over 3,000 on 8th March 2014, taking everyone by surprise. The second event, planned for Saturday 8th November, again at the Uralla Showground, will see Uralla in the spotlight again and undoubtedly everyone will benefit. “With Uralla on the trainline direct from Sydney and Newcastle, with an airport serviced by 2 major airlines just 15 minutes drive away and our main street doubling as the New England Highway – not to mention at least two east – west roads converging in Uralla – this event makes perfect sense to be based in Uralla and Uralla Shire Council wants to see it continue.” Says Uralla Shire Council General Manager, Damien Connor. “The first event attracted a significant out of town crowd, with postcode data collected at the gate showing that approximately 56% of visitors had come from within 30km, 32% from more than 30km away and around 12% - nearly 400 people - travelling between 100 – 500km. It was amazing for the town and surrounding areas.” Offered Uralla Shire Council Mayor, Michael Pearce. Great to have you on board! ![]() Lots of time has gone in to putting this together and the finished product has made it all worthwhile! A comprehensive plan showing you all our stallholders, the musical line up, children's activities, interesting things to learn on the day and key information like where the loo is! In the main we are asking people to park outside the Uralla Showground, where there is loads of space. However anyone with impaired mobility should just make themselves known to the Rotarians helping on the gate - they will show you where to park inside the grounds.
